Cornelius “Con” Hogan

Cornelius “Con” Hogan, a veteran public policy maker who led the Vermont Agency of Human Services, Corrections Department and most recently served on the Green Mountain Care Board, died Sunday, August 26, 2018 at his home in Plainfield of cardiac arrest. He was 77.

The video from August 5, 2009 was his presentation at the Aldrich Public Library discussing "Met Along the Way: Short Stories about People in Vermont" and his other publications about Vermont figures and characters.

Format of the Show and Show Segments
Easy going and informational. No hard sell advertising. Each 5 to 8 minute segment is intended to inform, tell a story, let the viewer become interested in your business.
Give viewers enough information of a broad interest that will be pertinent over a period of six months from original videotaping. The presentation is conversational, one-to-one with the viewer - no scripted monologue.



Aspects To Consider For Your Segment
• How long has the business operated? Recent milestone anniversary? Family business?

• Historic location? Downtown district or rural setting? Region location? Nearby attractions or points of interest?

• Service or product that has made the business well known?

• “Hidden Treasure” - a service or product offered by you that the public doesn’t know about?

• Something new that has just been added to your business?

• Interaction of you and your staff with customers?

• “Visual treat” - aspect of your business that will show well on camera - including how a product is made, or displayed, or service performed?

• Has your business received any awards, peer or industry recognition?

• What ways do your customers have of interacting with your business - at your location, on the internet, by phone, by catalog or brochure?

• Any other aspect of your business that can be told as an informational story?



Segment Underwriting Rate Card
Our $250 charter rate includes shooting your video using ambient
light (up to 1 hour of videotaping production time, more than 1 hour
is an extra $25.00 per hour); editing your video into a 5 to 8 minute
segment; and Internet uploading with copy and pasteable HTML code
for embedding the segment on your website for six months (renewable
for additional 6 months for $50.00).

You supply: a basic outline (See section above on aspects to consider for your segment); all on-camera talent; and select a single shooting location.

Charter rate does not include location transport fee ($15 to $49
based on county distance. See map for total charter rate amount for
your county location.)
